Working in the textile industry as a designer required that I work in a multitude of styles, and employ a wide range of techniques. My designs were applied to wearable fashion as well as home decor. Of paramount importance was the ability to pivot from one pictorial language to another, in accordance with the demands of clients. The challenge being to breathe new life into age-old textile design conventions, and in so doing, contribute to fashion industry trends.
